DREAMS AND THEMES SLEEPOVERS, LLC RENTAL AGREEMENT TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The Client, by submitting the booking form, agrees that they accept the terms and conditions of the Rental Agreement as stated here.

Rental charges - Rental charges are for an agreed upon overnight period. If the equipment is unavailable for pick up starting at 11am, Dreams and Themes Sleepovers, LLC reserves the right to charge the Client a fee. If the Client chooses to postpone the rental of the equipment, cancellation fees will apply as noted below.

Payment - Bookings are held once a $50 booking deposit is received via credit card, Stripe or cash if previously arranged. Payment of all remaining rental charges are due SEVEN days prior to the event. 

Cancellation - While we are unable to issue refunds, if the rental is cancelled seven days or more prior to the event, the $50 booking deposit can be used towards another booking within 60 days from the date originally booked. If the rental is cancelled less than seven days prior to the event the entire party balance will be charged and the balance can be used towards another booking within 60 days from the date originally booked.

Set up times - Setups will start from 11am - 2pm and you will be allocated a 3 hour window for arrival.  Pickup time on the following day will be between 11am - 2pm. Alternate times can be discussed.

Receipt of Delivery - The Client is responsible for being present to accept delivery of the equipment. The Client is responsible for any loss or damage incurred if He/She arranges equipment to be delivered without being present or without an authorized agent present, including for losses or damage resulting from equipment being delivered to an unattended premises or location as requested by the Client. The Client is responsible for checking the quantity of rental items against the invoice/agreement upon delivery. Please notify Dreams and Themes Sleepovers, LLC immediately to advise of any discrepancy or damage is discovered. Notification after the rental period will not be considered timely and the Client will be liable for any loss or damage to the equipment.

Positioning/Setting up of Equipment - The Client is responsible for indicating clearly the location for assembly or dismantling of the equipment. Dreams and Themes Sleepovers, LLC will take every care, but shall not be liable for any damage to the site, site access, furniture or personal belongings.

All furniture and other items must be removed prior to the party set up time. Also, all floor areas must be clean from dirt and dust before assembly commences. Dreams and Themes Sleepovers, LLC will not move furniture. To help determine how much space you will need to clear of furniture, each teepee set up is approximately 45 inches wide x 80 inches deep x 65 inches high. Please ensure there is adequate space for the party set up you book.

Use of Equipment - The Client assumes full responsibility for all rented equipment, including their safe and proper use, operation, and return to Dreams and Themes Sleepovers, LLC. Damage to rental equipment during use is the responsibility of the Client and the Client agrees that repair or replacement charges for damaged equipment will be paid after the rental date. If at any time during the rental period the Client considers the equipment to be faulty, it is the Client’s responsibility to contact Dreams and Themes Sleepovers, LLC to report the problem. Dreams and Themes Sleepovers, LLC reserves the right to repair or replace the faulty equipment as soon as practicable during the rental period to the reasonable satisfaction of the Client. The Client should not attempt to repair the equipment without prior consent. Please no jumping on air mattresses and no sitting/standing on tray tables.

Insurance - Client acknowledges and represents that it has adequate homeowner’s insurance, tenant insurance, or other liability insurance to cover any bodily injury or property damage which might occur to itself, its guests or its invitees from the use of the rental equipment, or else Client agrees to bear the costs of defense and liability of any such injury or damage itself.

Liability to Third Parties – Client agrees to indemnify and hold Dreams and Themes Sleepovers, LLC harmless for any claims, including by third parties, for loss, injury, and damage to persons or property arising out of the Client’s negligence or negligent supervision or use or misuse of rental equipment, including legal costs incurred in defense of such claims. This includes any allergic reactions or medical reactions that are a result of consumption of food/candy, wearing of props, and materials given at the event.

Cleaning - Rental equipment should be kept away from pets and smoking or other strong odors. Only light snacks and clear beverages are allowed in the teepees. Also, items that are known to stain or damage our fabrics/linens are to be kept out of the teepees. Some of these items include paint, markers, nail polish, makeup, colored drinks/food, or slime products. A cleaning charge will be applied to all equipment returned dirty $20 per piece of equipment. This will apply to all rental equipment, and includes pet hair, pet damage or odors. Linen does not need to be washed, however if they are returned excessively dirty a cleaning fee will apply. If the items are returned stained a replacement fee will apply per items. All rental equipment, linen and bed sheets need to be returned dry. If there has been a case of bed wetting, there will be a $20 fee for cleaning of the mattress and other soiled materials. Decorative pillows are not meant for sleeping purposes. You must provide sleeping pillows for each guest or ask guests to bring their own sleeping pillows.

Damage to Equipment - The Client is responsible for the security of the equipment at all times during the rental period. Any lost, broken, damaged or destroyed equipment will be charged to the Client at full replacement value.

The following shall be considered the replacement value of rental equipment, should an item be unrepairable or missing at time of pickup:

Teepees - $80

Mattress - $60

Sheets - $20

Tray Tables - $30

Pillows - $30/pillow

Gumball Machine $100

Selfie Station $80

Camera $70

Candy Table $125

Chalkboard Easel $40

Other damaged item costs may apply
